 BOREN, EMILY JOSEPHINE Age 92, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012. She is survived by her son, Sam J. Boren and wife, Dorothy; daughter, Linda G. Boren; grandson, Sam C. Boren and wife, Susan, granddaughter, Stacy M. Mitchell and husband, Miles; and great-grandchildren, Christopher S. Boren, Cassie L. Boren, Chance O. Mitchell, and Ty M. Mitchell. Mrs. Boren was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Sam Boren. Emily was a descendent of a pioneer family (Staehlin family) who located in New Mexico in the 1880's. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Emily was also a member and past president of Albuquerque Assistance League. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Dr. John Kees officiating.
