PORTS - WESTERFELD, JUANITA M. August 24, 1927 - November 3, 2012. What matters the most is the dash between the years. For the dash represents all the years of love that she gave. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Penny Ports and husband, Tom Gray; her son, John Ports and wife, Carrie; grandchildren, Matthew Ports and wife, Misha, Amanda Goolsby and husband, Jared and Jeremy Ports; great-grandchildren, Eli, Judah, Ezra Ports and Kylee Goolsby; sister, Freida Everett; brothers Fred Westerfeld, Norman Westerfeld and wife, Sandy; numerous nieces and nephews. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joe Ports; sister, Violet Birrell; and brother, Art Westerfeld. Services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Westside. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
