 SALAZAR, CHRIS J. (ZORRO) 1932-2012 Chris passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsman Local No. 2, NM. He was also a musician and singer of his beloved country and western music. He was loved and will be missed by his children, Diana and husband, Val Sandoval and their two sons; Darlene Banks and her two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Vienna and husband, Clarence Watley and their five children and 13 grandchildren; Frank and wife, Patricia Salazar and their three children and seven grandchildren; Chrissy Salazar-Arp and her son; and Charvel Heacock and her two daughters. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Terri and husband, Robert Waters, Baloise Salazar, James Salazar, Mary and husband, Eddie Sanchez and Frances and husband, Leroy Sandoval; and brother-in-law, Robert Ledbetter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Narciso and Cruzita Salazar; wife, Maredith Ann Salazar; son, Mark Justin Salazar; brother, Aurelio (Peanuts) Salazar; and sister, Rose Ledbetter. All services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, November 1, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 a.m. with a vigil service to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers are his grandsons, Christopher Lee Hilliard, Hammod Watley, Richard Mark Sandoval, Justin Tyme Salazar, Cameron James Arp and Joseph Isaac Sandoval.
