BLAKNEY, SUSAN MARY Age 64, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 14, 2012. She is survived by her sister Lois Blakney; brother John Blakney and wife Helen; nephew Robbie Blakney; nieces Kristina Blakney and Suzanne Devergie and her partner Anthony Naranjo; and great niece Soleil Naranjo. Susan taught at Sandia High School for many years. She was a dedicated educator and received the Apple Crystal Award for excellence in teaching. She traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. She was also an avid animal lover. Susan was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend.
