ELLISON, MILES JOSEPH Age 81, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died Monday, October 29, 2012, only six months after his beloved wife, Dorothea. He is survived by his children; Desiree Woodland and husband, Gary of Albuquerque, Sondra Lang of Albuquerque, Jocelyn Beaulieu of Albuquerque, Jeannine Clock and husband, Ron, of Albuquerque, Joseph Ellison of Lakewood, CO, and Matthew Ellison and wife, Renee of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; mother, Frances Hubbard of Surprise, AZ, brother, Howard Ellison and wife, Sharon of Sun City West, AZ, and sisters, Bea Persinger of Collinsville, OK, and Bernice Ellison of Garland, TX; and many extended family and friends. Mr. Ellison was preceded in death by his father, Miles N. Ellison; his brother, Wayne Ellison and his grandson, Ryan Woodland. Miles, along with his wife were members of Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque. Miles served in the USAF for 3 years, was a Korean vet, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He worked in Federal Civil Service (BLM and BIA) and retired after 32 years. He ended his career at Weller Architects as an engineer and retired for the second time. Services will be held Monday, November 5, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with Steve Kunkle officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Woodland, Ron Clock, Joseph Ellison and Matthew Ellison. Friends may visit on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
