 BROWN, MAGDALENA Our beloved mother, Magdalena Rodriquez Brown, age 88, passed away October 28, 2012. She was pre- deceased by her sisters: Gloria Moore and Rosemary Romero. Magdalena is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward E Brown Sr. and her five children Eddie Brown Jr., Ida Jean Esquibel, Robert Brown, Gus Brown, and James Brown; siblings: Carmen Chavez, Lucille Gonzales, Gus Rodriguez, Mary Louise Sandoval, Julia Rodriquez, Frank Rodriquez, George Rodriquez, and Pauline Rodriquez; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake, crochet, do ceramics, paint retablos and spend time with her grandkids. Magdalena's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation held in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE) on Thursday, November 1st from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at St. Therese Catholic Church also on Thursday at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 2nd at 9:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church followed by Burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 am. Pallbearers will be Carlos Roybal, Jason Brown, Jeremy Brown, Gabriel Brown, Joshua Brown and JJ Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Brown and JoJo Castillo.
