 GARCIA, DAPHNE Age 50, beloved and devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, cousin and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home, October 15, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. Daphne was a Deputy Sheriff with the Bernalillo County Sheriff Department for 20 years. She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel P. Garcia; grandparents, Esquiel Lucero, Juan and Eufemia Garcia; niece, Angel Marie Garcia. Daphne is survived by her loving parents, Dan "Red" and Rita Garcia; her brothers, Daniel Garcia and C. Sam Garcia Sr.; her maternal grandmother, Perfillia Lucero; boyfriend, Robert " BJ" Jeffery; sister-in-laws, Monica Dominguez and Monica Garcia; niece, Samantha Garcia; nephew, C. Sam Garcia Jr.; godson, Daniel R. Gallegos; uncles and aunts, Manuel and Gloria Lucero, Angie and Herb Clute, Carlota Eichwald, Pita Garcia, Maria Garcia; cousins, Jeannie, Amy, Kathleen, Brian, Arthur, Kenny, George, Raymond, Carla, Ethal, Elaine, Jessica, Frances "Pancha", Angela, Valdo, Steve, Carmen, Cindy, Barbie, Nicky, Peter, Yolanda, and Mercedes; and surviving are her extended family at the Bernalillo County Sheriff Department and a host of friends. Daphne will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Visitations will be Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at St. Therese Church on 4th and Mildred. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 19, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Avery Hernandez, Eric Knudsen, Greg Rees, Andi Taylor, Theresa Sabauch and Amy Dudewicz. Honorary Bearers will be Samantha Garcia, C.
