MARQUEZ, ADELAUDO "LALO" Age 84, a resident of Peralta and formerly of Albuquerque, died Monday, September 17, 2012. He is survived by his son, Abie Marquez and wife, Liz; daughters, Nadine Marquez and Jocelyn Betzen; grandchildren, Erika, Jackie, Tim, Veronica, and Kira; great-grandchildren, Harlan, Skyler, and Zena; brother, Chris Lopez and wife, Trinnie; and sister, Ida Valdez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlinda. Lalo was born to Abel and Predicanda Marquez on February 5, 1928 in Moquino, NM. He moved to Albuquerque with his mother and sisters as a young man. Lalo was a sales representative working in building supplies until his retirement. Later in life, he loved to do woodwork. Lalo built bird houses, gates, and a wishing well. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012, 2:00 p.m., at French, University. A private interment will take place. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandson, Tim Sanchez; nephews, Earl Marquez, Jerry Martinez, Eugene Martinez, and best friend, Procopio Sandoval. "Dad, you will be missed and never forgotten.
