DIXON, HAROLD W. A New Mexico native was born in Clovis on January 22, 1924 and passed away in hospice on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Ruby Temple Dixon; loving wife, Margaret and brother, Jim. He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia and Sharon and grandchildren, Joseph L. Jackson, Jennifer Jackson Lewis (David) and Katharine Lukach Carter (Nicholas). He was a World War II Veteran and proud of his service in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Lobo Boosters Club. He and wife held season tickets to Lobo Football and Basketball for many years. He owned Arrowhead Service on South Fourth Street and later Dixon Automotive on Ridgecrest where he was in business for 52 years. Graveside services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of New Mexico, 9500 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 121, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87111.
