ZORA LEORA Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012. She is survived by her son, Kenneth R. King and his wife, Nancy; her grandchildren, Susan Ellis, James Wright, Ashley Wright, Lindsey King, Kelsey King, Shelby King, Clayton King and Jesse King; her great-grandchildren; her sister, Ruby Cacy and family; and her daughters-in-law, Sheila Wright and Robyn King. Zora was preceded in death by her father, Silas E. McAfee; mother, Zora V. McAfee; her husband of over 50 years, Raymond Marshall King; son, James Russell King; and son, Donald Marshall King. Zora was a long-standing member of the Northeast Heights Church of Christ. She loved gardening and traveling. Zora loved to spend time with her family and was a very generous person. She enjoyed entertaining and even had her own pilots license. Zora and her husband, Ray, owned and operated the Gibson Discount Centers for over 30 years. Friends and family may visit Zora on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 4:00-5:30 pm at French-Wyoming location. Services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
