JP Age 94, a longtime resident of Bosque Farms passed away Monday, August 27, 2012. He is survived by his sons, Steven Morgan and wife, Phyllis and Alan Morgan and wife, Harriet; grandchildren, Stacey, Patricia, Allison, Chase, Scott, Kathryn and Brooke; sisters, Minnie Francis Ivins and Dean Cox. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years Elsie Mae Morgan. JP was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms for 24 years. He served as a Deacon for 30 years at Bethel Baptist Church in Alamogordo until retiring to Bosque Farms. JP served his country in an anti-aircraft unit during WWII defending Washington DC. Services will be held on Saturday, September 01, 2012, 9:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms, 1350 Bosque Farms Blvd, with Pastor Sid West officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit French - University, Friday, August 31, 2012 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
