MARGARET O. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 25, 2012. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado June 1, 1940 and was preceded in death by her parents Fermin and Rose Ortiz. She spent many years as an independent contractor building homes for others, but her biggest accomplishment was the home she built for her family. She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years David; three children Celina, Janeen and her husband David, Gabriel and his wife Naomi; ten grandchildren who will miss her dearly, Gabriel, Elijah, Anyssa, Sarah, Maia, Sam, DJ, Robin, Marisa and Deja; two loving sisters Irene and Nancy; as well as many nieces and nephews. Margaret has been cremated and a memorial Rosary will occur Monday, September 3, 2012 at 6:00 pm with a Mass to be held the following morning, Tuesday, September 4 at 9:00 am. Both services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 1860 Griegos Road NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87107. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
