ERNEST ARTHUR loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the age of 86. Ernest was born September 9, 1925 in Springerville, Arizona. He served in the U.S. Army. Ernest is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Sofia and loving family; sister, Margaret Lopez; daughter, Gloria Gallegos and husband Salvador; grandchildren, Joseph Chavez and wife Terri; great-grandchildren, Monique, Robert; great-grandson Tristan; granddaughter, Darlene Gallegos; great-grandsons, Santiago, Mateo; granddaughter, Diane Eifert and husband Mark; grandsons, Elliott, Daniel Gallegos; son, Gilbert Najar and wife Rosemary; grandchildren, Orlando, Angela, Natalie, Beatrice; great-granddaughter, Annabelle; daughters, Dorella Evelyn Najar, Naomi Olguin and husband David; granddaughter, Erica; son Robert Najar and wife Marie Short-Najar; grandchildren Michael, Julianna; grandson, Jared Barnhouse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Desiderio and Domitilla; brothers, Aurelio, Eddie, Lawrence; sons, Ernest A. Najar Jr., Gary W. Najar. A Rosary will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00am on Tuesday, Augu 14, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Pallbearers are Robert Najar, Salvador Gallegos, David Olguin, Mike Martinez, Daniel Gallegos, Joseph Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers are Carol Martinez, Orlando Najar, Elliott, Tachias, Phillip Walck.
