MARK J. age 94, passed away on July 26, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico surrounded by family, friends, and music. That same year, he entered the U.S. Army as a 2nd lieutenant and was assigned to the 93rd Infantry Division. Later, he transferred to the 43rd Infantry Division, and served as a Captain in the Asiatic Pacific off the Solomon Islands until the end of World War II in 1945.
