MELINDA age 79, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Lovato and husband, Fred; son, Joe E. Carabajal and wife Alicia; grandchildren, Arlene Lovato, Ava Lovato, and Jose Antonio Carabajal; sisters, Emilia Romero and husband, Alex and Crisella Cordova along with nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Melinda was preceded in death by her brother, Damacio Garcia. Melinda retired from Presbyterian Hospital after 20 years of service. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St. NE, 87110. Melinda will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following the church service.
