CHARLYN LOUISE Age 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Barbara Scalf Morris and husband, Tommy; sons, Richard L. Scalf, Jr. and wife, Katie Holmes and Thomas Charles Scalf and wife, Diana Farrelly; grandchildren, Teri Williams and husband, Darryl, Becki Morris, Thomas J. Morris, and Ami McGlothlin; and great-granddaughters, Nicole and Tsianina Williams. Mrs. Anderson graduated in 1940 from Shortridge High School, Indianapolis, IN. She was head of the Presbyterian Candy Striper Volunteers and President of the Albuquerque Cosmopolitan Women's Club. She was a professional organist and taught organ and piano. Mrs. Anderson also loved to play bridge and taught bridge for many years in Albuquerque senior centers. Over the years, she taught 800 students how to play.
