ELOISA S. a life long resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2012 a Alta Vista Hospital. She was born on Marcy 12, 1928 to Rafael and Sofia Gallegos Sanchez. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (to many young people), great-grandmother and friend. Eloisa was a life long catholic and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Sofie Esquibel. Eloisa is survived by her loving and caring husband, Pete G. Bustos of Las Vegas, NM; a son, Ralph Bustos and his wife Priscilla and their family, Natasha Martinez-Padilla, her husband Eric and their children, Christian, Romulus, and Cameron; and Alicia Martinez of Las Vegas, NM; a daughter, Ruth Bustos Lopez and her husband Maurice and their children, who were the love of Eloisa's life, David Lopez and Isabela Lopez of Albuquerque NM; and son, Donald Bustos of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her niece, who was like a daughter to her, Phyllis Martinez of Las Vegas, NV, and very good friends, Julia Martinez, Josie and Manuel Gonzales, and Sister Clarita Trujillo. Also surviving her is her sister-in-law, Confe Bustos of Las Vegas, NM and her remaining first cousins: Lawrence Fulgenzi and his wife Connie of Los Alamos, NM, and Josie Fulgenzi Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; and several second cousins from the Fulgenzi and Ortiz families, and other relatives and friends. Eliosa and Pete were married on August 19, 1957 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church and enjoyed their time together, especially in their retirement years. They enjoyed eating out, traveling, and spending time with their family and friends. Cremation has already taken place. Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with a Rosary on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Enrichment will follow at a later date at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Albuquerque, NM.
