ANDREW "PRIMO" was born on February 1, 1927 in Walsenburg, CO. and passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in ABQ. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque and worked in the Maintenance Dept. for the city of ABQ from August of 1993 to his retirement in September of 2005. Andrew Honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force where he was a Veteran of Korea and WW II. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors in the mountains with his dog and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by seven children, Jackie, David, Van, Michelle, Andrew Jr., Alex and Antoinette; two brothers, Donald and Paul; two sisters, Stella and Pauline; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends who will love and miss him. Memorial Services will be held at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW., on Friday, July 6, 2012. The visitation will begin at 9:30 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Burial will then take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, also on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 3:00pm, with U.S. Army Honors. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
