RAY LEE Age 83, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 after a brief illness. He was born in Mountainair, NM on September 2, 1928 to J.P. and Minnie (Phillips) Ruff. Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty J. Ruff; three daughters, Linda Daniel and husband Carson of San Diego, CA, Pamela Sellers of Albuquerque, Kathy Dukeminier and husband Duke of Los Lunas, NM; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Ray retired from the telephone company where he worked during the years it was known as Mountain Bell. During his retirement years, Ray visited every state except Hawaii because he couldn't drive his camper there, camping, fishing, loving his dogs and playing golf. Most of all, Ray was devoted to his family. He was always there for his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He was an integral part of their daily lives. He was greatly respected by his work colleagues and dearly loved by his family-all of whom will miss him immensely. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Graveside service will be held 11:00am Friday, June 22, 2012 at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque with interment to follow.
