PRISTINIA C. "PRISSY" Age 88, a resident of Los Ranchos, went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, June 10, 2012. Her radiant soul and generous spirit touched the lives of many, who will miss her dearly. She enjoyed her morning coffee, green chile, margaritas, shopping, painting, poetry, classical music, Notre Dame Football, and her wonderful array of adored animals. Prissy absorbed the love of family and friends and radiated that love back to them one hundred fold. Her open and loving acceptance of everyone was a shining and inspirational testimony of how life should be lived. She taught us how to be kind to one another. She is survived by her loving children, Mary Ann and David Harris, Lew and Melissa Granados, Debbie and Michael Ward, Candace Granados and Susan Kubala, Deidre and Randy Thompson, Mark Granados and Mark Misiunas; brothers, Gilbert and Josie De La Cruz, Raymond and Stella De La Cruz, and Ruben De La Cruz; grandchildren, Jeff and Kamie Kaltenbaugh, Jacque and Ryan King, Brecque and Mitchell McEldowney, Chelsea Granados, Stephen Ward and Madison Mendezona, Connor Ward; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Kaltenbaugh, Ki'erra Kaltenbaugh, Michael McEldowney, Korbin Kaltenbaugh, Harper King; and numerous nieces and nephews. Prissy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis R. Granados and parents, George and Anita Chavez; and brothers, George Chavez Jr. and Sammy De La Cruz. A Rosary will be recited Monday, June 18, 2012, 7:00 p.m., at French - Wyoming Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Parish, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
