W.H. (RICHARD) Age 87, died Saturday May 26, 2012. Born in rural Abilene on May 12, 1925. Richard was the son of T.H. Taylor and Nora E. Vaughn. He was a motor machinist's mate 3rd class for the US Navy during WWII. He was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines for 25+ years, and worked for C.W. Williams Corp. as head of maintenance. Richard was loved very much and will be dearly missed. Preceding him in death were his parents; first wife; three children; and one step-daughter. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Leona of Albuquerque; son Tommy and wife Vicky; grandson, Junior and wife, Samantha; four great-grandkids; step son Keith Chapin and wife Connie, all of Albuquerque; step daughter Helen Shadowens and husband Mark of Truckee, CA; sister, Dorothy Burton of Lubbuck Texas; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members in Texas. A celebration of life will be held June 11th, 6:00pm at Azusa Christian Faith Assembly of God, 201 Valencia Dr. NE.
