ANTHONY J. "TONY" Age 78, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, after a long illness. He was the son of Anton J. Milisa Sr. and Johana Fabjian Milisa. Anthony is survived by wife, Joyce Milisa of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Liz, Joanne, and son-in-law, Jeff; son, David. Mr. Milisa was preceded in death by his son, Mark, and siblings John, Jean, Helen, and Phyllis. He was happily married to his wife, Joyce for 55 years. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and retired from the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) after 33 years as an air traffic control supervisor. He was known as the "World's Best Pop" as well as a devoted family man. Services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012, at 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The New Mexico Animal Humane Society, 615 Virginia St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. A Reception will take place following the service from 3-5pm at the family home. The family would like to thank Trevor and Cassandra of Right-at-Home, Linda of Presbyterian Hospice, and the Presbyterian Hospital Staff for their care and kindness.
