Obituary for METZLER

RICHARD CLYDE Age 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died Saturday, June 2, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his daughter, Laura and her husband, James; his son, David and David's wife, Celia and two grandchildren, all of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University where he received his PhD in Mathematics in 1966. He taught Mathematics at the University of New Mexico for 30 years, retiring in 1995. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle NE.
