MARY K. January 23, 1946 - May 31, 2012 Born in Louisville, KY, daughter of US Army Major Carl T. Johnston and Adeline Campbell Johnston. Devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Graduate of Rice University (B.A., M.A. in Philosophy). A successful executive for multiple arts and charitable organizations including Houston Ballet in Houston, TX, Center Theater Group in Los Angeles, CA, BalletMet in Columbus, OH and All-Faiths Receiving Home in Albuquerque, NM. A lover of dance, music, literature, sunshine, a good intellectual debate and her NY Times crossword puzzles. Survived by her son Sean (Charmaine) Bailey; grandchildren Lily and Charles Bailey; nephews Michael (Andy Kreiss) Lewis and Christian Johnston. Services are private.
