JOSE 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 1, 2012. He is survived by wife of 51, Maria de la Luz Guerrero de Gonzalez; children, Juan Lorenzo Gonzalez Guerrero and wife, Sofia,Gloria Natividad Gonzalez de Zanabria and husband, Rafael, and Griselda Batres Gonzalez and husband, Mario; grandchildren, Rafael Zanabria and wife, Maria Cardenas, Ruby Zanabria, Edna Parra, and husband, Jesus, Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez, Abel Enrique Zanabria and wife, Liza, Mario Alfonso Batres and wife, Veronica, Juan Alberto Gonzalez and wife, Mariza, Adrian Zanabria and wife, Gloria, Andrew Batres and wife, Cecelia, Pedro Gonzalez and wife, Laura, Fernando Batres, and Diana Lucero Gonzalez; twenty five great-grandchildren; sister Margarita Gonzalez; brothers Hector Gonzalez and wife, Beatrice and Manuel Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez was a long time member of San Jose Parish. After retiring, Jose liked to spent time with his friends at Carneceria Cuatemoc, particularly his best friend, Cosme Jaquez and his family. A memorial service will be held, Monday, June 4, 2012 at 6:00 pm at French - University Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 10:00 am at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway SW. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery, corner of Pajarito and Coors Pallbearers will be Mr Gonzalez Castro's grandsons.
