Obituary for SHARP

LOWELL EVERETT Age 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died peacefully Monday, May 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bettye Sharp; as well as many cousins; in-laws; nieces and nephews. Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his father, John Everett Sharp, and his mother, Bessie Mabel Nott Sharp. Born in Council Grove, Kansas, Mr. Sharp grew up on a farm and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was an employee of Sandia Corporation and later the owner of Central Trailer Supply in Albuquerque. An avid race fan of Indy and NASCAR circuits, he was a board member for Unser Racing Museum. He also liked to rebuild cars and go fishing. Mr. Sharp was an uncle, advisor, and help to many family members and friends over the years. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at French - Lomas Chapel. Interment will be at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
