HELEN "KAY" Age 55, a resident of Corrales, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012. She is survived by husband, Evan Schmidt of Corrales; daughters, Krystal Cunningham and husband Jeff of Rio Rancho, Kenda Hooker and husband Amos of Midlothian, TX; step-daughter, Courtney Schmidt of Albuquerque; and the pride and joy of her life, her grandchildren, Jack, Tyler, Savanna, Asa, Asher, and Sweet Baby Koralyn. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Welch and Juanita Mattox; and sister, Shelia Davenport. Kay was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be in our hearts forever. She was loved by everyone who she came in contact with at Vista Grande Elementary School. Services will be held on May 25, 2012, 12:00 pm at Sue Cleveland High School Concert Hall. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Viewing will take place at Sue Cleveland High School Concert Hall, Friday, May 25, 2012 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
