ANNIE ALICE Age 91, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2012. She is survived by daughter, Betty Budner of Albuquerque, NM; son, Samuel Anderson and wife, Patty of Tucsan, AZ; son, Frank Young; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, including great-granddaughter, Victorianna A. Garcia and her father, Jerry Joe Garcia; sister, Mary Lucy Marino and her daughter, Mary Frances Dillenbeck of Albuquerque; and sister, Clara Williams of CA. Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel Woodrow Anderson; her parents, Candelaria and Annie Roybal; granddaughter, Valerie Ann Weiss; her best friend, Gene Barnes; and her other brothers and sisters. Annie was a good mother and sister to the family she loved. She was fun-loving and loved to dance. She took pride in her family, especially her grandchild and great-granddaughter, and loved spending time with them as well as her many friends. Annie was an active Cootie, a member of the American Legion Post 13 for 51 years and a member of the Women's Auxiliary to the MOC since 1977. The family would like to thank Allen Methvin and the staff of Advantage Health Care for their nurturing and support during Annie's time of need. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 11, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave NE. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to assist in the building of a nicho in Annie's memory.
