DIXIE LEE Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the age of 80. Dixie was born in Amarillo, TX on February 18, 1932, and moved to Albuquerque in 1942 where she attended Jefferson Junior High School and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1950. After graduation, Dixie worked for a short time for National Airlines as a travel agent. She then worked for Albuquerque National Bank and later became a travel agent for the Bolack Travel Agency where she worked until her marriage in 1988, to Clifton "Woody" Woodcock. Dixie was preceded in death by her father Leonard A. Tate; her mother Johnnie Mae Tate; and her beloved husband "Woody". She is survived by her sister, Shirley Tate Shannon and her husband, Jim Shannon; her brother, Jim Tate and his wife, Kathi; her stepson, Joel D. Woodcock and his wife, Wanda; her stepdaughters, Susan Zurasky and Virginia Aguilar and her husband, James. Dixie is also survived by five nieces and nephews; seven grand-nieces and nephews; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special angel in her life, Donna Blea. Dixie and Woody enjoyed camping, jeeping, world travel and spending time with their family. Private services will be held.
