MARY J. Age 64, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Abbott and Stephen Abbott and his wife, Denise Clement; granddaughter, Alexandria Abbott; and sister, Diana Donnelly. Mary was preceded in death by her parents. Mary was a registered nurse and dedicated her life to nursing, taking great pride in her work. She worked as a home health care nurse in the greater Albuquerque area specializing in wound care and diabetes education. Her commitment to helping others and her strong sense of social justice guided her in being a fierce advocate for her patients. Mary was a very generous and loyal friend, giving of herself to others despite her own illness. In lieu of flowers, please honor her memory by giving to the cause of your choice.
