ROBERT JOSEPH Age 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Robert was born December 1, 1923 in St. Louis, MO. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a Mechanical Engineer with Allis-Chalmers for 30 years with many patents to his credit. After retirement, he moved to Albuquerque where he took up a second career as a business broker for 20 years. Robert was a dedicated father, brother and grandfather, who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Steve Schroeder and wife, Kay Ballinger, Paul Schroeder and wife, Jean, Monica Voorhees and husband, John, Tony Schroeder, Donna Randall and husband, Danny, Jim Schroeder and wife, Pat, Nanette Koepnick and husband, Bill, and Carol McClatchey and husband, Mike; brothers, Bill Schroeder and Harry Schroeder; and grandchildren, Kate Schroeder, Mike Schroeder, Pete Schroeder, Robbie Schroeder, Miguel Garza, and Janelle Voorhees. Mr. Schroeder was preceded in death by his daughters, Terry Schroeder and Lisa Saiz; father, William Henry Schroeder and mother, Sophia Clara Schroeder. He was a member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 3, 2012, 7:00 p.m., at French Wyoming Chapel. Friends may visit Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, 9:00 a.m., at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE.
