THOMAS J. "TJ" Age 89, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, March 24, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret Schmierer; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Stickney and husband, Jeff; son, Gary Schmierer and wife, Mary; daughter-in-law, Gwen; grandchildren, Naomi, Daniel M, Daniel T and wife, Katie, David, Doug, Joey, Wendy, Ken and wife, Amy Felicia, Larrisa, Ethan and Timothy; great-grandchildren, Josh and wife, Kayna, Virginia, Caleb, Robert, Liam and Khaia; great-great grandson, Levi; and many other family and friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Paula Schmierer and son, Charles Schmierer. He served our country in the United States Army during World War II and was an auditor for the AEC before retiring. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
