SOSTIA G. 1933-2012 A resident of Belen, NM passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. She is at peace and will be eternally with those who preceded her: her loving husband, Bennie G. Baca; parents, Juan and Eufracia Serna Giron; brother, Frank Giron; and son-in-law, Leroy Vaisa. Sostia was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She was a loving and giving person. This was evident through the many years of outstanding service and dedication at the Los Lunas Training School and later retiring from ARCA. She enjoyed spending time with the mentally challenged individuals that she worked with. Sostia is survived by one son, Gilbert Baca and wife, Lucy; three daughters, Mary Ann Vaisa, Diane Sanchez and husband, Raymond and Terry Rae John; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Beatriz Silva and husband, Gilbert; brother, Joe Jiron; brothers-in-law, Tony Baca and wife, Sophie and Eddie Baca and wife, Lucille; sisters-in-law, Eloisa Stephans and Margaret Romero and many nephews, nieces and friends. She is also survived by her devoted and constant friends, Mary Driggers and Adela Baldonado and their families and her caregiver, Rose Chavez. "May you be in eternal rest. We love you." All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Friday, March 30, beginning with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Francis Bijoy presiding.
