DAVID G. In loving memory of David G. Paques at age 70, passed away March 21, 2012. Born in Mt. Vernon, OH on May 24, 1941, he was a resident of Albuquerque since 1963. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Leslie Paques; his daughter, Danielle and partner Keith Matlock; his son, John and partner, Regina Ravis and his sister, Felecie and husband, Lynn McDougall. "Grandpon Dad" is also survived by his only grandson, Chase Matlock. David was a devout member of the University Heights Church and served as trustee and participated in many activities of the church. He was known in the craft show world as "The Leatherman" for 28 years. David received a double - lung transplant in 1997 and enjoyed his second chance at life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his mother Lena; his father, John; and his brother, Sonny. David was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at University Heights United Methodist Church, 2210 Silver S.E., 87106. Flowers are welcomed, however, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the University Heights United Methodist Church.
