WALTER L. Age 89, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2012. Walter was born on 02/23/1923 in St. Louis, Missouri. He owned a Nash car dealership there, followed by Sportsmans Resort on Lake of the Ozarks. He subsequently moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he owned Gunns' Recreational vehicles from 1965 to 1976, selling travel trailers and motorhomes, for which he gained national recognition. After selling that business, he retired to Mesa, Arizona, with his wife of 55 years, Virginia, who preceded him in death in 2000. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Morehouse, and his granddaughter, Audrey Morehouse. For the last six years he lived at the Montebello on Academy in Albuquerque. He was a man of few words who will be missed by many family members and friends. A service will be held at 10:00am Thursday, March 22, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona. No flowers or donations please.
