Obituary for PARK

DAVID R. Longtime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away in his sleep February 24, 2012 in San Diego, California. He was born January 1, 1929 in Pueblo, Colorado to the parents of Dr. Alexander Jay Park and wife Bernice. He attended the Colorado Military Academy in Denver. He was a veteran having served with the US Navy during the Korean War conflict. He retired from the US Forest service as a Forester having served for over 30 years in the Southwest Region. He is survived by wife Betty Park of San Diego, California; sons, Steve (Amy) of Lakewood, Colorado and Jan (Cathie) of San Diego, California; nephew, Greg (Margaret) of Lake Forrest, California; and nine grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman cherishing the time he spent with family and friends in his boat on the waters of Elephant Butte Lake. We will miss him greatly. Happy Fishing Dad!
