KATHLEEN MARYCLARA Was born on September 11, 1954 in Meriden, CT where she spent her childhood. Kathleen attended St. Joseph's Grammar School and Platt High School. She received a BA in education from Central Connecticut State University and a master's degree in library science from Southern Connecticut State University. Her love of libraries began at age 16 while working for the Meriden Library, first as a page, then a reference librarian. She went on to become the circulation manager at the Wallingford Public Library in CT for 20 years. In May of 2007, Kathleen and her husband Bob moved to Corrales, NM. She worked as the circulation manager at the Southside Branch of the Santa Fe Library for four years. Kathie had just taken the position of branch manager for the Albuquerque Library System when she passed away from a sudden illness. She is survived by her husband, Robert Highbridge. Their time together took them through 40 years of adventures, travel, and life experiences. Kathleen had a great love for animals, books, and gardening. She was a wonderful, gracious aunt to her nieces, nephews, and friends' children. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
