SANTIAGO (JIMMY) P. Age 88, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully, on February 20, 2012, to join his beloved wife, Maria, on what would have been her eighty-sixth birthday. Mr. Griego is survived by his daughter, Shirley N. Vigil and fiance, Ray Chavez; sisters, Ninfa Cordova, Clarita Romero; grandchildren, Eric Vigil, and Arianna Vigil; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, and friends. Mr. Griego was preceded in death by his wife, Maria; son Bernard Steven; sister, Maximana; and brother, Gene. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:15 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with at rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the rosary at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Urnbearers will be Eric and Arianna.
