NICHOLAS JOSEPH LT. COL. US ARMY, RET. Nick passed from this life on February 16, 2012. He leaves his wife, Mary; sons, Marc Lombardo and wife, Georgette, Christopher Lombardo; daughter, Lisa Tusinger, husband, Eddie and son, Joshua; brother, John Lombardo and wife, Marie; sister, Rosemary Lombardo; sister, Connie Appenheimer; and many loving nieces and nephews. Nick was proud that he was able to serve his country with 28 years of service in the military. After moving to Albuquerque in 1971, he was associated for many years with North American Van Lines. The light of Nick's life was his grandson, Joshua, who gave Nick so much pleasure and many happy times. Nick will be missed. Memorial Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at French Lomas Chapel. Memorial Mass will be held 8:30 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE, Albuquerque, NM.
