STARLENE "STAR" Age 54, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on August 24, 1957, to Scott Gilman and Phyllis Marlene (Wilson) Bailey. Star was a person with very strong opinions and she will also be remembered for her generous spirit. She put others before herself - she was there for everyone. She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents. Star is survived by her husband, Fred J. Beltran of Los Lunas, NM; daughter, Marlene Werts and husband Aaron of Roswell, NM; daughter, Yvette Smith and husband Steve of Albuquerque, NM; son, James Ramon Carter and wife Ranessa of Los Lunas, NM; daughter, Angelina Carter of Roswell, NM; father, Scott G. Bailey and wife Susan of Roswell, NM; brothers, Gilman Bailey, James Bailey, Philip Bailey; and sister, Traci Mace; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Visitation will be 5:30 pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Carlisle Chapel, with a Funeral Service immediately following at 6:30 pm. Interment will be 1:30 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
