DONNA JEAN Passed away Friday morning, February 17, 2012, at the Specialty Hospital in Albuquerque. Donna was born in 1927 in Walsenburg, CO. Donna was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Ritz; and her eldest daughter, Janice Mimovich. Donna is survived by her son, Michael Mimovich and his wife, Cyndi and Alexis, her step-granddaughter; daughter, Jeannie Beck and her husband Jim and her grandson, Nicolas; her youngest son, Mark Mimovich and his wife, Renee and her grandchildren, Marissa Burch and her husband, Zack and great-grandson, Shai; her grandson, Alexander and her granddaughter, Nicole. Donna Jean, or Sarge as she was known to her family, will be sorely missed for her kindness, her unwavering love for her children, her surprising sense of humor, and her unique view of the world. One of the last jobs that Donna held was a people greeter at Wal-Mart and no one could make you feel more welcome than Donna! A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Ave. NE. Entombment will take place at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.
