HELEN MARIE Age 84, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully, February 15, 2012, after a year-long battle with cancer. Helen Marie was born in Creston, Iowa, and spent the last fifty-four years married to Joseph Abner. She enjoyed baking, singing, and spending time with her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses; Christy and Milton Poling, Sandra and Marty Frentzel, and Cathleen and Jim Smith. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Schmoll. A small service in her honor will be held at Cristo del Valle Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 17, at 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to The American Cancer Society. We would like to thank Vista Care Hospice for their wonderful care of our precious loved one during her final days.
