MARY JOELLA (VIGIL) Departed from this earth on February 10, 2012 to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is survived by her sister Helen Santos; four nieces; three nephews; two great-nephews; and one great-niece. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Steffen Daugherty; father Benito Vigil; mother Patsy; and two brothers, Daniel and Bennie. Mary brought joy and light into the lives of all she met. She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Mary will be missed greatly. A memorial service in Mary's honor will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Living Word Church, on Unser Blvd. and 17th Avenue NE, Rio Rancho. The viewing will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the memorial service starting at 7:00 p.m. A departure service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Living Word Church, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
