ERVIN E. 1920-2012 Age 91, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012. He was born in Roscommon, Michigan to Floyd Ervin Ballou and Margaret Sullivan Ballou. Ervin and Madlyn were affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses church since 1958 having a multitude of friends in NM, AZ, TX, CO and many other parts of the U.S. Ervin's life passions were hunting, fishing and shooting a good game of pool. A draftee of WWII, Ervin served 4 years in the U.S. Army with Cairo, Egypt being one of the exotic places he served as a Postal Clerk. After the war Ervin continued his Postal Service role for 16 years, worked in the logging industry and then in the construction trade which he continued in until recent years. He was greatly loved and will be immensely missed by all his family. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sully, Bernard, and Eldon; his wife of 50 years, Madlyn and his son, Leonard Ballou of Los Lunas. Father of four surviving children, Brevaude (Bea) George of Belen, Floyd Ballou of Hollywood, CA, Mimi Forwoodson of Ferndale, WA and Tracey Ballou of Glendora, CA; his daughter-in-law wife of Leonard, Sandy Ballou; ten grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
