SYLVIA GRIEGO Age 95, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Sylvia was a lifetime resident of New Mexico, born in 1916 the only child of Felipe and Ramona Griego. Sylvia is survived by six children, Phillip, Joyce, Marie, Bernice, Hazel, Kenneth and wife, Sharon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren. Sylvia was preceded in death by one son, Bobby McManis and her parents. Sylvia found joy in doing volunteer work in the Foster Grandparent program and in dancing. Sylvia was a dedicated loving Mother and devout Catholic. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 7:00pm at French - University Chapel. A second Rosary, followed by Funeral Mass at San Jose Parish, 2201 Broadway SE on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
