JOSEPH DANIEL Age 86, Dan passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2012. He was born in Albuquerque on March 25, 1925 but was a long-time resident and business owner (Schifani Brothers Printing Company) in Santa Fe for 62 years. Dan retired from the Army reserves as a Major. He was very active in his church as an usher and extraordinary minister for many years. Dan was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Diane; and his eight brothers and sisters, Louis, Manuel, Frank, Dante, Ted, Anna, Pearl and Marion. Dan is survived by his three children, Pati (Robin) of Buffalo, NY, Ricky (Constance) of Santa Fe and Cindi (Gerald) of Albuquerque. Dan is also survived by grandchildren, Scott (Debra) and Kim (John) of Buffalo, NY and Darlene of Santa Fe; and great-children, Joseph, Nicholas, Alyssa and Daniel of Buffalo. We will miss you and always love you. Viewing will be Thursday, January 26, 2012 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2012. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
