CHARLOTTE Age 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, passed on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Charlotte was born in Mount Vernon, WA and resided in Stanwood, WA with her parents, Elsie and Norin Hafstad. She is survived by daughter, Brenda Jensen; son, Brian Jensen and wife, Sharon; grandson, Aaron Sanchez; granddaughter, Jenna Sanchez; great-grandson, Ryan Ortega; sister, Elinor Sherman and husband, Jack; and nieces and nephews. Charlotte's hobbies were knitting and sewing, and she created beautiful sweaters and afghans. She was a member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church. Charlotte retired from APS in 1995, but continued to serve as an educational assistant up until her death. She was a member of the ADK sorority since 1972. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 13, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper NE, with a reception to follow.
