SARAH ELIZABETH 1948-2011 Sarah Elizabeth Quisenberry, age 63, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Sarah is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Sarah was born in Myrtle Beach South Carolina on January 3, 1948. She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1968. Sarah worked as a General Manager at several hotels, the last at the Rio Grande Inn, before opening TMM Business Records Storage in 1990. Together Sarah and her husband Tom Quisenberry successfully ran TMM before losing their business to a fire in 2010. Although Sarah was a natural entrepreneur, her greatest accomplishments were her love and devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Sarah loved to fish and ski in the beauty of Angel Fire. She also cherished her time teaching her grandsons, Joel to paint, putting puzzles together with Stephen, fishing with Richie, and helped her eldest grandson Brett during his last two years of high school. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Pleasant Burrell Durham, and Kathleen Huff Durham; her sister Kathleen "Kitty" Cheney; and her brother Pleasant "Tim" Durham. Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Tom Quisenberry; daughter, Kelly Marions Fajardo and husband Larry; son Don Marions; step-daughter, Michelle Petrin and husband Jeff; step-son Shane Quisenberry and wife Kris; grandchildren Brett Petrin, Richard Solorzano, Stephen, and Joel Fajardo; her sisters, Barbara Abraham, Laura Shytle, Ruthie Jones and husband Randy; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends Joanna Rubi and Rachel McLeod. Sarah was loved by all that knew her, and she will be greatly missed. All services will be held at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley, at 19381 North Highway 314 in Belen on Monday, December 19. A viewing will be at 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery and there will be a reception following at the church.
