EUGENIA (NANA) Age 95, a resident of Albuquerque, was called home to our Father on December 6, 2011, after a full life of love, happiness, family, friends, smiling, laughing, dancing, sewing, cookies, and pies. Mrs. Montoya was surrounded by the love and care of her family at her home in Albuquerque, NM. Eugenia was born in Roy, NM on January 30, 1916, to Agapito and Lucia Vigil. Eugenia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Jose Domingo Montoya; son Edward; three brothers; two sisters; and an infant son. Mrs. Montoya is survived by four daughters, Prudy Holguin and husband, Zef, Eleanor Martinez and husband, Frank, Odilia Romero, and Priscilla Darby; her son, Vidal (Al) Montoya and wife, Chrs; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Angie Elliot, Elena Hurling, and Dolores Duran; brother, Vincent Vigil and wife, Lucille; and her brother-in-law, Tobias Ortega. Visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2011, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. by Kathy Garcia. Final visitation will be Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 605 5th St., Springer, NM, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Springer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Gonzales, Norman Hurling, Joshua Kramer, Jacob Rivera, Joseph Martinez, and Ronald Montoya. Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Holguin, Franklin J.
