Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday November 30, 2011

PRISCILLA G. Age 86, a native of Albuquerque went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2011. It was fitting as she was born on another National Holiday, Independence Day, July 4, 1925. She came into this world with a bang of fireworks and she left us all thankful to have known her and to have had her in our lives. She did a wonderful job raising her children as a single mother. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents Elias and Abunda Garcia of Albuquerque; her children Rosalie Aragon, Jimmy Lopez, and Elias Aragon; her siblings Ernestina Jaramillo, Ida Armenta and Sabro Garcia; her beloved grandson, Joseph Aragon, with whom she had a wonderful relationship with. She is survived by her son Joe D. Aragon and wife Annie; grandchildren Stan Aragon, Annette Martinez and husband Ray, Paulette Romero and husband Randy, Joyce Aragon; daughter-in-law Cristina; great-grandchildren Arleane, Sebastian, Anthony, Marie, Nathaniel, Alexandra, Dajah, Joseph, Randy, Keana, JR, Alyssa, Annelisa all of Albuquerque; numerous caring extended family. Priscilla made friends wherever she went and touched many lives. She was a Christian woman who gave her life the Lord Jesus Christ many years ago. She shared the gospel with others and lived her life learning about the Lord. She will be dearly missed until we reunite with her again. We will always remember her feisty spirit. Service will be held Thursday, December 1st at 1:00pm at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Ave NW.
